Electric vehicles equipped with MEDCOM’s solutions carry millions of passengers a week within the European Union and in countries such as the USA, Canada, Brazil, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, and Belarus.

Our solutions include all key vehicle systems:

  • Drive - responsible for supplying traction engines and ensuring appropriate drive parameters and energy recovery.
  • Control - a comprehensive vehicle steering and control system.
  • Auxiliary power supply - a system supplying auxiliary systems, such as lighting, heating, air conditioning, ventilation, computer sockets, battery charging, etc.
  • Passenger information system.
  • Air conditioning control.

 

We create solutions for all the traction power supply systems used in the world, as well as for hybrid and diesel vehicles.

We have designed and manufactured complete drive systems for hundreds of trams in Poland, the United States, Turkey, Canada, Bulgaria, Romania, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, and Ethiopia. We have delivered an integrated drive system, power supply system, and control system for repaired metro vehicles in São Paulo, as well as a power supply system for suburban trains in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

Our drive systems also operate in the majority of new trolleybuses in Gdynia, Tychy, and Lublin, the majority of upgraded Polish EN 57 trains, and in many new multiple units of leading manufacturers.
